Heart Centered Communication Practice Group

Join us twice a month to practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC), otherwise known as Compassionate Communication, founded by Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg and the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
Experience connecting from the heart through honest expression and empathy. This practice group utilizes practice exercises from a variety of resources and offers empathy to one speaker at a time in a group empathy circle. Each practice session offers time for each member to be heard, opportunities to learn and grow through practicing empathetic listening and honest expression in community. This is a peer-based group with a noncertified facilitator. It is not necessary to have been present at previous meetings in order to attend. A basic understanding of the four components and three choices of NVC is desired.
We meet the first and third Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 at Columbia Gorge Community College, Indian Creek Campus, 1730 College Way, Room 312, Hood River. The meeting location is subject to change.
Please visit the Heart Centered Communication website for schedule, meeting location, resources and more, For further details contact Rachael Fox at 541-490-6079 or
