I believe that everyone has the ability to live a happy and meaningful life, to achieve emotional wellness, and to develop healthy relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to help facilitate growth and healing, and empower clients to overcome the obstacles to achieving the life that they want. I work primarily with individuals, couples, and youth (ages 10-19), and specialize in trauma recovery, relationship challenges, and in utilizing creative interventions. Other areas of clinical focus are anxiety, depression, grief, anger management, and self-harm.This work and exploration process is done is a safe, compassionate, and accepting environment.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Portland State University. I have additional specialized training in trauma, crisis intervention, and expressive arts therapies. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, North American Drama Therapy Association, and International Association of Trauma Professionals.

As each client is unique, I use a variety of skills and techniques to meet my clients' needs in the way that feels comfortable and empowering for them. My theoretical orientation draws largely from acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness approaches, attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and internal family systems.
